Job summary

Ascend Rehab Inc. is seeking an Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide ABA-based interventions in a school-based setting under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group work with children in a preschool/community context, with data collection and collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families. Applicants should hold an RBT certification, have at least a high school diploma, and ideally one year of experience with children aged 0-5.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children ages 0-5.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Comfortable with hands-on care including diaper changing.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a team.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Job Summary

The RBT will provide ABA-based interventions under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support children’s growth and development in a fun, structured environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by a BCBA/BCaBA


• Provide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in a preschool/community setting


• Collect and document accurate data and session notes


• Support children with daily routines, transitions, communication, and social skills


• Assist with diapering, toileting, and maintaining a clean and safe environment


• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families


• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and ethical guidelines

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Minimum 1 year experience working with children ages 0-5

Preferred Qualifications
