Job summary

Symphony ABA Therapy in Virginia is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism under an ABA framework. The role involves implementing individualized care plans, assisting with daily living activities, and documenting progress.

The RBT will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to adjust treatment strategies and educate families, while upholding HIPAA confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (or BA preferred).
• Experience with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices is advantageous.
• Familiarity with care plans and ABA principles is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork with initiative.

Overview

Symphony ABA Therapy, where every child's potential plays a vital part in our harmonious approach to ABA therapy for children in VA and NC, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized care plans based on applied behavior analysis principles
• Assist clients in daily living activities, promoting independence and skill development
• Monitor and document client behavior and progress, maintaining accurate records
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust treatment strategies
• Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
• Educate clients and their families about behavioral health concepts and strategies
• Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or BA a plus
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
