Job summary

Strides ABA in Massapequa, NY is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in home settings. You will develop and implement individualized plans with BCBA collaboration, collect data, and help create a positive, supportive environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and an RBT certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Current RBT certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation (for community and in-home services)

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and outcomes

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and outcomes
• Assist in maintaining a safe and organized therapeutic environment
• Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices
