Job summary

Advanceable ABA is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home ABA therapy to children with autism in Wallace, NC and surrounding areas.

You will work 1:1 under BCBA supervision, implement individualized treatment plans, track progress, and communicate with families. Flexible scheduling and paid training are offered.

You’ll receive RBT certification and renewal support, PTO, and opportunities for clinical growth as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or path to certification
• 1+ year experience with kids or individuals with special needs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under BCBA supervision
• Help children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills
• Use evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Track progress with session data and clinical notes
• Communicate professionally with families and the clinical team
• Participate in BCBA supervision and training
• Stay active during sessions (sitting, squatting, walking, running, playing)

What You’ll Do

As an RBT, you’ll provide individualized 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills
• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team
• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children

What We’re Looking For:

• Active RBT certification, if not we’ll support your path to certification
• Passion for working with children and helping others grow
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the [LOCATION] area
• Part-time and full-time RBT positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed)
• 15–25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs
