Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care (ASAT) seeks an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Southington, CT. We provide in-home, in-school, and community-based ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, with focus on evidence-based outcomes and client success.

Competitive pay in the 22–30 USD/hour range, flexible part-time schedules, and opportunities for career advancement are offered. Full-time benefits and training support are available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $30/hour
• Part-Time: Monday, Wednesday 3:00 to 7:00 PM and weekends (10 AM - 4 PM or flexible)
• Location: Southington, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
