Job summary

ASAT: ABA a Step At A Time care seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes, schools, or community settings under BCBA supervision. You will collect data and collaborate with families to support progress.

Part-time weekend hours with competitive pay ($22–$30/hour) and opportunities for growth, paid training, and supervision. Join a parent-founded, clinician-led team committed to positive outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• ABA therapy experience with children is preferred but not required.
• Ability to engage children in therapy sessions and collect progress data.
• Eligibility to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Adhere to the BACB code of ethics for RBTs.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respoect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $22 - $30/hour
• Part-Time: Saturday and Sunday 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (flexible)
• Location: Ridgefield, CT

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
