Job summary

Total Care ABA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in Socorro, New Mexico. We offer in-home and in-school ABA services across the state with flexible schedules and strong support for professional growth.

You will work one-on-one with children, implement BCBA-designed plans, and contribute to meaningful progress in a mission-driven team. Applicants with RBT certification preferred, experience with autism welcomed, and Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• RBT certification preferred; experience with autism is a plus.
• Experience with children and strong communication skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in home, school, and community.
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document client data accurately.
• Support communication, social, and daily living skills development.
• Collaborate with families and clinical team members.
• Travel to client homes and community settings as needed.
• Provide services in person throughout New Mexico.

What You Will Do

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, and community settings to help them develop the skills they need to succeed.

• Deliver individualized ABA therapy services
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Collect and document client data accurately
• Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skill development
• Collaborate with families and clinical team members
• Celebrate client successes and help create meaningful progress
• Accurately keep record of client’s progress
• Travel to client’s homes/community settings, as required to deliver services
• Services provided in person throughout New Mexico
• Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement

What We Expect From You

• High School Diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, dependable, and open to feedback
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
• Experience working with children preferred
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus
• Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply

Schedule Options

Full-Time: 35–40 hours per week
Part-Time: 10–20 hours per week
Flexible Shift Options Available
