Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental and behavioral health challenges in Ogden, Utah.

The position offers competitive pay (approximately $20–$27 per hour), weekly paychecks, health and dental coverage options, a 401(k) plan, and mileage reimbursement. Morning, afternoon, and evening hours are available to fit family schedules.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in related capacities required.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
