Job summary

HealthPro Pediatrics, a division of HealthPRO Heritage, is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work with children with ASD and other exceptionalities in Hampton and Newport News, VA. Earn $21–$26/hour with full-time or part-time schedules, and receive paid training to obtain RBT certification through us.

You’ll join a therapist-led team, collaborate with speech, OT, and PT, and gain hands-on experience in pediatric ABA services in a collaborative clinic setting.

Qualifications

• A valid RBT certification or completion certificate (40-hour course) is preferred.
• CPR certification with hands-on portion required or available.
• Experience in mental health, child development, or education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to build communication, social, and life skills.
• Implement play-based, individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA.
• Track progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

As an RBT with HealthPro Pediatrics, you’ll work one-on-one with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other exceptionalities providing play-based ABA services alongside speech, occupational, and physical therapy under one roof! You'll make a difference every day helping them build skills, gain independence, and confidently navigate everyday challenges.

And because every kiddo learns differently, that might mean wearing a costume, working under a table, climbing a jungle gym, or singing your instructions!

• Schedules to fit your needs:
  • Full-Time: M-F 8 am - 6 pm! Part-Time: Afternoons M-F 3pm - 6pm!
  • Optional weekend hours available for clinicians wanting to make up hours missed during the work week!
• The compensation:
  • Hourly rates between $21-$26/hour with opportunities to earn more!

Qualifications

• A valid RBT certification or completion certificate for a 40‑hour RBT certification course is preferred
  • Not an RBT yet? No worries! We have an on‑site training program as a benefit!
• Valid CPR certification with the hands‑on portion
  • We can help with that, too!

• Experience in the field of mental health, child development, or education is preferred

• Must be at least 18 years old and have, at minimum, completed high school or national equivalent

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
