Job summary

Centria Autism in Lexington, MA is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism by implementing individualized behavior plans under supervision. You will work one-on-one to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided and no prior experience is required beyond passion and patience. The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and collaborating with a BCBA to ensure progress.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; HS diploma or GED; ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans; teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and track progress with evidence-based techniques.
