Job summary

Strides ABA in New Jersey is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with developmental disabilities in home, daycare, or community settings. You will collaborate with a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans and collect progress data.

The role emphasizes compassionate, professional care, safety, and timely data recording. Morning, afternoon, and evening cases are available to fit family schedules, with ongoing training to help you grow

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ABA principles or willingness to learn through trainings provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old; HS diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide in-home or daycare-based therapy for children with developmental disabilities. Qualifications:

• A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) must be at least 18 years old

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for community and in-home services)

• Clean background check required for working with children and families

Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of ABA principles or willingness to learn through trainings provided

Legal Requirements:

• Adherence to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality and data protection

• Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding child welfare and mandatory reporting

• Physical ability to assist with safety protocols, including lifting or moving clients when needed
