Job summary

Strides ABA is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician in Middlesex County, New Jersey to work with a BCBA providing in-home or daycare-based ABA therapy for children with developmental disabilities. You’ll be paired with a client in your area and gain ongoing training while helping kids reach their goals.

Responsibilities include 1:1 therapy, data collection, implementing plans, and collaborating with the BCBA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and move frequently during sessions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Clean background check required for working with children and families.

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide in-home or daycare-based therapy for children with developmental disabilities. • Clean background check required for working with children and families

Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of ABA principles or willingness to learn through trainings provided

Legal Requirements:

• Adherence to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality and data protection

• Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding child welfare and mandatory reporting

• Physical ability to assist with safety protocols, including lifting or moving clients when needed
