Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated ABA therapy aide to work with children on the autism spectrum in Oakland. You will deliver one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy and support implementation of behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's supervision.

You’ll help develop communication, social, and self-help skills, collect session data, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment while collaborating closely with families and care teams. CPR and TB tests are part of the requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, or teaching).
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within service area.
• Available Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–7:30 PM.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; OPT opportunities welcome.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain one.
• TB test, physical exam, and vaccination proof.
• Current RBT certification not required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic.
• Open to feedback and ongoing learning.
• Adaptable with diverse families and communities.
• Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset.
