Job summary

Magical Moments ABA seeks a part-time Registered Behavior Technician to support one-on-one and group ABA sessions under BCBA supervision. This role emphasizes compassionate care, data collection, and adherence to privacy rules.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is required.
• 6+ months of ABA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings per BCBA treatment plans.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach.
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Collaborate with therapists, BCBA/BCaBA, caregivers and other professionals for program implementation.
• Receive supervision and feedback from BCBA/BCaBA staff.
• Complete required training on organization guidelines and regulations.
• Record appointments daily and comply with billing and payroll policies.
• Adhere to RBT ethics and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Communicate progress with clients, parents, and caregivers.
• Adjust therapy plans with BCBAs based on progress and needs.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families
• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation
• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations
• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
