Job summary

Magical Moments ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct client care in one-on-one and small group settings after BCBA plans. This part-time evening role emphasizes compassionate, family-centered ABA therapy and requires accurate data collection and progress recording.

The RBT will collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, and other therapists to implement programs, take direction from supervising staff, and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician certification is required.
• 6+ months of ABA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general ABA practices.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings per BCBA treatment plans.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach.
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Collaborate with therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers for program implementation.
• Take direction and feedback from supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA).
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines and regulations.
• Record appointments daily and comply with billing and payroll policies.
• Adhere to RBT ethics, HIPAA policies, and confidentiality.
• Communicate progress and findings to clients, parents, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans as needed.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families
• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation
• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations
• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:
