Magical Moments ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for part-time evening shifts. The role involves direct client care in individual and group settings under BCBA guidance, with a focus on data collection and progress tracking using Central Reach.

Candidates should have an RBT certification, 6+ months ABA experience preferred, and strong communication and organizational skills. The position emphasizes HIPAA compliance and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings per BCBA treatment plan.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Collaborate with therapists and other professionals for program implementation.
• Take direction and feedback from supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA).
• Complete required training related to guidelines and regulations.
• Record appointments daily and comply with billing and payroll policies.
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and HIPAA confidentiality policies.
• Communicate with clients and caregivers regarding progress and findings.
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans as needed.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:

• Provide direct client care in one-on-one and group settings, following the protocols outlined in the treatment plan created by BCBA
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using Central Reach
• Maintain a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment for clients and families
• Work collaboratively and communicate professionally with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and other professionals for effective program implementation
• Ability to take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA)
• Complete required training related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations
• Accurately record appointments in practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies
• Adhere to RBT ethics code and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality
• Communicate with clients, parents, and caregivers regarding client progress and behavioral intervention findings
• Collaborate with BCBAs to adjust therapy plans based on client progress and emerging needs

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• 6+ months of ABA experience preferred, but not required
