Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring an entry-level to certified Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in North County San Diego. Competitive hourly wages apply, with higher pay for 6+ months of certification and successful clinical interview.

You will help children with social and communication skills, document progress, and implement behavior plans under BCBA supervision. Requires HS diploma, RBT certification, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• RBT Certification required or in process; ability to obtain certification if not yet certified.
• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework or 1 year related experience in child development/ABA contexts.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social and communication skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones for supervisors.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Certified (RBT / BCAT / ABAT) Salary: $24 - $29 / per hour
