Our Child Therapy in Virginia is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician to join our team. You will work closely with children and families, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services and helping implement treatment plans.

This part-time role (25 hours) offers an in-person schedule at client homes and daycares in Smithfield, VA, with paid training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience with children and strong people skills required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal & written.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with children
• Collaborate with BCBA and Clinical Director
• Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports
• Implement behavior-based treatment plans
• Educate parents on classroom support techniques
• Ensure safety and quality care for clients
• Establish professional relationships with parents and community resources
• Maintain training materials and supplies
• Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals to community resources

• Salary — $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
• Schedule — Monday: 8-1pm, 1:30-4:30pm, Tuesday: 11-4:30pm Thursday: 3:30-6:30pm Friday: 3:30-6:30pm Saturday: 9-2pm
• Work Location — In-Person / Client Home/Daycare - Smithfield, VA
