Our Child Therapy in Virginia is seeking a passionate Behavior Technician to join our team for in-person client home and daycare sessions in Hampton, VA.

You will implement ABA-based treatment plans, collect data, educate parents, and collaborate with a BCBA and Clinical Director to ensure safe, high-quality care for children. Flexible part-time hours and paid training are offered. This role emphasizes compassionate communication, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs during duties.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with children and families in ABA services.
• Collaborate with BCBA and Clinical Director.
• Conduct data collection and maintain session reports.
• Implement behavior-based treatment plans per supervision.
• Educate parents on classroom support techniques.
• Ensure safety and quality care for clients.
• Maintain training materials and supplies.
• Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals as needed.

Job Description:We’re seeking a passionate, experienced Behavior Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll work closely with children and families, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You’ll play a vital role in implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and conducting data collection. Job Type:Part-Time (12-15 Hours)
Salary:$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday ~3:00pm-5:30pm

Work Location:In-Person / Client Home/Daycare - Hampton, VA

Responsibilities:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Experience with children and strong people skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred, but not required (training provided)
