Job summary

Powerback Pediatrics in Omaha seeks a motivated individual to become a Behavior Technician (RBT). You will work 1:1 with children, applying ABA techniques under supervision, to help learners reach new milestones.

The role requires a HS diploma, a passion for working with neuro-divergent kids, and a willingness to obtain RBT certification if needed. Training is provided, with paid onboarding. Schedule includes weekday afternoons in Omaha.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
  • Experience or passion for working with children, especially neuro-divergent.
  • Completion of 40-hour RBT training or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with a child in ABA therapy under supervision.
  • Ensure billing docs reflect services rendered and are timely.
  • Update availability in the EMR and communicate with Client Advocate.
  • Follow BACB ethics in service delivery and professionalism.

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician (RBT) will use ABA techniques to encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones through teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
  • Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
  • Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
  • Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
  • Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
  • Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
  • Minimum 1 year working with children.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics. Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.
Posted Salary Range

USD $19.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr.
