Job summary

Powerback Pediatrics in Hastings, NE is offering a paid training program to become a Behavior Technician. You will learn ABA under BCBA supervision and prepare for the National RBT Board Exam.

The role involves 1:1 ABA therapy with children, with shifts M-F 4‑8pm and potential for more hours in the future. Training is provided, and you can pursue RBT certification through BACB as part of ongoing mentorship and CEU support.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training or training provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to a child under supervision.
• Ensure accurate billing and documentation.
• Update availability in the EMR and communicate changes.
• Coordinate with Client Advocate and Supervisor regularly.
• Adhere to BACB ethics in service delivery.

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician (RBT) will use ABA techniques to encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones. You must be willing to take and pass the National RBT Board Exam.

Responsibilities

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with the Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro‑divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Posted Salary Range

USD $19.00 - $23.00 /Hr.
