Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach skill acquisition and behavior modification while coordinating with the care team.

The role requires at least a HS diploma and completion of 40-hour RBT training, with a path to RBT certification. Positions offer paid training, potential for more hours, and the chance to impact children's lives across settings.

Qualifications

• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training required; train if not completed.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children.
• Work under supervision of BCBA.
• Ensure timely billing and accurate documentation.
• Update availability in EMR and communicate changes.
• Communicate with Client Advocate and Supervisor about assigned clients.
• Follow BACB ethics codes in service delivery.

We offer a two week PAID training program to become a Behavior Technician where you will learn how to implement Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Behavior Technician (RBT) will use ABA techniques to encourage, support, and challenge children to reach new milestones through teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

Responsibilities

The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one‑on‑one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro‑divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Salary

USD $19.00 – $23.00 per hour.
