Job summary

The Learning Tree ABA in Maryland is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions for children with autism and related disorders.

You will work closely with BCBAs, collect data, and help implement individualized treatment plans while supporting families. This role requires travel to client locations and a commitment to professional development and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ to apply.
• Ability to travel to multiple client locations.
• If not RBT certified, complete RBT certification within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct-care behavioral therapy in individual sessions (group sessions may be assigned).
• Collaborate with BCBAs and BCaBAs to implement treatment plans.
• Collect accurate data per company policies.
• Submit session notes related to treatment plan implementation.
• Support families and caregivers in following behavioral strategies.
• Maintain professionalism including attire, timeliness, and communication.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct-care behavioral therapy in individual sessions (group sessions may also be assigned)
• Work with BCBAs and BCaBAs to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect accurate data as per company policies
• Submit session notes related to treatment plan implementation
• Support family and caregivers in following behavioral support strategies
• Maintain a high level of professionalism including appropriate clothing, timeliness, and communication.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Be at least 18 years or older to apply
• Have the ability to travel to and between client locations
• If not RBT certified, must complete RBT certification within the first 3 months of employment
