Job summary

Achieving Stars Therapy OH seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT) to support individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism, through in-home and community ABA services. You will implement behavior plans under supervision and help build essential skills.

This part-time role requires 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and strong teamwork and communication. Travel to Warrensville Heights, OH is expected, with afternoon hours on weekdays.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of the BCBA.
  • Collect data on client behavior during sessions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Utilize ABA techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

Behavior Technician (RBT)
Job Overview:

Achieving Stars Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, by providing in-home and community based ABA services. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you work with.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect data on client behavior during sessions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and manage challenging behaviors
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective care coordination
Skills:
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
