Job summary

Cypress Pointe Health & Wellness seeks experienced RN or LVN for evening shift to provide quality nursing care within an interdisciplinary team. You will follow nursing standards, document care, and support residents to maintain the highest level of functioning.

Full-time position with a 2pm–10pm schedule, competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including PTO, holidays, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability and supplemental coverages.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
• Unencumbered LVN or RN license.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.

Responsibilities

• Follow established standards of nursing practices and implement community programs, policies and procedures.
• Obtain report from nurse being relieved and provide report to nurse on duty; record information for follow-up actions.
• Conduct resident rounds daily, report problems to supervisor and initiate corrective action.
• Follow staffing guidelines and assign nursing tasks according to staff qualifications and resident needs.
• Provide and document direct resident care, medications, and treatments per physician orders.
• Instruct licensed nurses and nursing assistants on appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Follow established standards of nursing practices and implementcommunity programs, policies and procedures
• Obtainreport from nurse being relieved and provide report to nurse coming on duty;record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessary.
• Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to supervisor and initiating corrective action
• Follow staffing guidelines and make nursing assignments according to qualifications of staff and characteristics of the resident population
• Comply with community processes related to painassessment/management/documentation, providing treatments and delivering medications
• Administer and document direct resident care, medications and treatments per physicians’ orders and accurately record all care provided
• Provide instruction for appropriate nursing care to licensed nurses and Nursing Assistants

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
• Unencumbered LVN or RN license or Compact State License
• Proof of current CPR certification andability to work flexible schedules
• Minimum 1 year experience as an LVN or RNin a clinical setting preferred
