Qualifications

• Leadership experience of at least 3 years across multiple program areas.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to supervise staff.
• Willing to obtain certifications in wellness and aquatics as needed.
• High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Y in the community by building positive relationships with members and staff.
• Promote inclusive, welcoming environments for diverse populations.
• Oversee branch operations during shifts to ensure seamless member experiences.
• Support program areas (aquatics, membership, wellness, family, sports) delivering quality service.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff within departments.
• Ensure branch cleanliness and maintenance for safety.
• Support membership and program initiatives including retention and registration.
• Act as Executive Director in their absence and coordinate with YX Teams as needed.
