Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) in New Albany, OH is seeking a Transmission Workplace Services Manager to lead preventive and predictive maintenance for office buildings and service centers in the region. You’ll manage space utilization, employee moves, and furniture inventories, while guiding Print, Mail, and Food Service operations to safe, cost-efficient performance.

You’ll oversee O&M and Capital budgets, prioritize projects with potential funding, and collaborate with management to ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in facilities or construction management.
IFMA designations (FMP/CFM) desirable.
Travel around the region and occasional travel to Columbus.

Responsibilities

Lead preventive and predictive maintenance for AEP office buildings and service centers.
Oversee space utilization, moves, and furniture inventories.
Direct Print, Mail, and Food Service coordination to ensure safe, cost-efficient operations.
Monitor and manage O&M and Capital budgets for the region.
Foster open communications with management on facility issues.
