Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a detail‑oriented Warehouse Management System (WMS) Specialist to optimize warehouse operations through technology solutions. The role will configure, maintain, and support our WMS platform to ensure efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and seamless workflows.

This position bridges technology and operations, driving continuous improvement through system optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Warehouse Management Systems in an operational or technical support role.
• Strong understanding of receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Proficiency in WMS configuration, troubleshooting, and user administration.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain WMS settings, workflows, and business rules.
• Manage system updates, patches, and vendor coordination.
• Monitor performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Maintain data integrity across inventory processes.
• Create and maintain system documentation and user roles.
• Provide user support and resolve WMS issues promptly.
• Develop dashboards and reporting for KPIs.
• Lead or support WMS-related projects and UAT.
