Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is hiring a Regional Engineer with extensive wind generator expertise to support in‑shop repairs and field service across North America. Based at the IPS Service Center in Litchfield, MN or Waco, TX, you’ll lead technical efforts to meet growth targets and align with IPS standards.

You will develop and deploy technologies advancing IPS’s mission, set uniform repair specifications, and supervise tests to ensure quality for wind generators and electric motors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience with electric motors or generators.
• 5+ years in the Wind or Solar Industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot generator and motor performance issues in‑shop and on-site.
• Perform RCFA on failed generators and motors.
• Drive development of electrical work on repair instructions and reverse engineer designs.
• Lead and participate in redesign of projects for generator and motor types.
• Provide electrical technical support to customers, repair shops, and field service.
