Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Regional Wellness Specialist-RN to support health services across multiple communities, reporting to the Regional Director of Health and Wellness. You will oversee nursing activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the company culture of shared accountability.

You will travel to assigned communities, provide leadership, monitor resident care, and participate in family conferences to ensure high-quality service and risk management.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified nursing program.
• An active and unencumbered registered nursing license in the state of Oregon.
• Experience of 5 years or more in the care of senior adults and adults with cognitive decline.
• Previous supervisory and/or management experience in long-term care or community-based setting.
• Compassionate individuals who will represent our company in a positive and professional manner.
• Available and on call for emergencies day and night for assigned communities.
• Able to travel to designated locations.
• Demonstrate organizational skills around time management.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care.
• Ability to lead a management team and promote staff development.
• Knowledgeable of regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to nursing practice and community-based care for seniors.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned communities, company meetings, and networking functions as needed; may include air travel and overnight stays.
• Be highly visible to the customer and to associates.
• Make a significant contribution to the quality of life of our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency.
• Significant change in condition assessments.
• PRN parameters and other medication-related parameters as needed.
• Supportive device assessments.
• RN delegation.
• Assist in recruiting and onboarding wellness associates as needed for communities.
• Ensure that sound infection control practices are in place that promote a healthy environment.
• Implement company wellness systems that ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Review adverse events, identify need for plans of correction.
• Participate in resident and family care conferences as needed when needed to help facilitate communication, ensure quality service delivery, and manage risks.
• Maintain current knowledge of and monitor community compliance with applicable federal and state regulations related to resident care and nursing practice.
• Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living.

The Regional Wellness Specialist-RN for Cascade Living Group is a regional support position to the Regional Director of Health and Wellness, assisting in overseeing everything nursing in a region of communities ranging in size in assisted living and memory care.
