Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Business Development Manager in Seattle within the Wealth Management National Sales organization. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, executing regional initiatives, and coaching Financial Advisors to expand practice and asset growth.

The candidate will coordinate with product specialists and leaders, lead training events, and manage tailored business plans across local markets. A strong background in wealth management and advisory relations is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Wealth Management experience or equivalent product/management background.
• Active Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) required on hire or within 120 days.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities and stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to autonomously develop and execute strategic plans.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted consultant to Financial Advisors and align firm solutions with client needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Morgan Stanley products and tools to position capabilities.
• Drive adoption of national initiatives and regional priorities with advisors.
• Develop and implement targeted business plans to grow assets and revenue.
• Conduct book reviews and analyses to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide coaching and training to Financial Advisors on practice management.
• Collaborate with product specialists and leaders to enhance solution adoption.
• Lead rollout of initiatives via presentations, workshops, and coaching.
