Job summary

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for an Environmental Systems Regional Supervisor in the Northern Region of Maryland. The role oversees all water, wastewater and industrial wastewater treatment systems and supervises regional personnel.

The position emphasizes management of operations and maintenance and requires meeting CSUS course requirements, plus valid operator certifications and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state high school equivalency certificate and CSUS courses approved by MES.
• Must complete CSUS 'Manage for Success' or equivalent management course approved by MES.
• AND 1 year as Environmental Systems Assistant Regional Supervisor with MES.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall management of water, wastewater, and industrial wastewater treatment systems.
• Supervise regional personnel and manage operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with operator certification requirements and seasonal/annual program needs.
