Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced leader in Wichita, KS to drive client engagement and business development for municipal water and water resources projects. You will help grow the Wichita regional water market and work with project teams to deliver value.

Required are PE licensure, a Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering background, and 12+ years in the field. Travel may be required as projects evolve and opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement strategies and pursuit plans for municipal clients in the Wichita and surrounding region.
• Develop new business and maintain high-value client relationships.
• Lead the strategy for client selection, client management, and pursuits in the geography.
• Develop strategies for finding new streams of revenue and promoting technical innovations with clients.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Key Technical Specialists and the CDM Smith design team for successful project delivery.
• Be active in professional societies, industry organizations, and relevant political circles in the Wichita area.
