Veolia is seeking a Water/Wastewater Operator to cover vacations and absences at client facilities in the Wisconsin region. The role includes training local teams, supporting start-ups, and maintaining operations and safety across multiple sites.

The position requires operating pumps/valves, collecting samples, and recording data while ensuring regulatory and Veolia safety standards. Flexibility for day/night shifts and travel is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of the operation and control of electric motors, pumps, and valves.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Proficiency with Google Suite.
• Ability and desire to build and maintain a team mentality.

Aufgaben

• Maintain complete operational coverage of Veolia-operated facilities in designated region.
• Be available for day and night shifts with schedule flexibility.
• Support development of local technicians in the region.
• Ensure industry standards and best practices are used.
• Assist with new account start-ups.
• Provide troubleshooting support for process issues.
• Operate pumps and valves to regulate wastewater flow.
• Collect and test wastewater samples per testing frequency.
• Record keeping of client data (chemicals, turbidity, pressure).
• Comply with Veolia safety programs.
• Analyze lab data and implement process changes to prevent non‑compliance.
• Coordinate with other operators across facilities.
• Consult with management on best wastewater treatment approaches.
• Plan workload independently.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate regularly.
