Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a Regional Wastewater Technical & Operations Manager to lead our Northeast wastewater treatment facilities, combining regional engineering with hands-on plant leadership. Half the role focuses on corporate engineering initiatives, the other half on plant management across Taunton, MA; Beacon, NY; and Waymart, PA.

The role emphasizes budgeting, safety, compliance, and performance improvements, with a base salary range of $115,000–$150,000 and a 25% target

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
15+ years of progressively responsible experience in wastewater treatment, mechanical/process engineering, or related field.
Experience in capital projects, regulatory reporting, and equipment selection.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and technical leadership for wastewater facilities, including process optimization and controls.
Identify opportunities for improvements, reliability and efficiency across facilities.
Manage capital projects from scope to execution, budgeting, scheduling and vendor coordination.
Oversee plant operations in partnership with supervisors and operators to ensure safety and compliance.
Support environmental permits, regulatory reporting, and safety programs.
