Principal Consultant - Water / Land Development

Wastewater Practice Leader – East Coast, USA

Our client, a leading land development engineering and environmental consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Wastewater Practice Leader to join their collaborative team. This role offers the flexibility to sit in various East Coast offices, including NJ, PA, and VA.

In this key position, you will lead and support design and permitting efforts for a variety of wastewater distribution systems, treatment facilities, pump stations, and master plans. You'll have the opportunity to partner with top industry leadership in fueling the growth of a multi-disciplinary practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead wastewater component design and permitting for diverse projects
  • Develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization
  • Drive business development activities and maintain client relationships
  • Integrate multi-disciplinary services into land development projects
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or above) in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer license
  • 10+ years of experience in wastewater systems design and hydraulic analysis
  • Strong client development and management abilities
  • Expertise in technical and proposal writing
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D
  • Active participation in professional organizations
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and judgment skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
