Job summary
Wind River Environmental LLC is seeking an experienced Regional Wastewater Technical & Operations Manager to lead the Northeast wastewater treatment facilities from Taunton, MA to Beacon, NY and Waymart, PA. The role blends corporate and regional engineering with hands-on plant management and site support.
The position emphasizes process improvement, capital planning and execution, regulatory support, and safe, compliant daily operations with a 25% target bonus on a $115k–$150k salary range.
Qualifications
- Experience in wastewater treatment, engineering or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical discipline or 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with capital projects from scope to completion.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment selection.
- Familiarity with environmental permitting and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering and technical leadership for wastewater facilities including process optimization and controls.
- Evaluate plant performance and identify opportunities for improvements and reliability.
- Lead capital improvement projects from scoping to execution with budgets and schedules.
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and facility documentation.
- Mentor plant supervisors and operators to strengthen technical capability.
