Job summary

Advance Auto Parts seeks a Vice President of Operations to oversee 150-200 stores in the region. The VPO will drive profitability, mentor regional leaders, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining high team performance.

Candidates should bring 5–10 years of multi-unit retail leadership, strong budgeting skills, and a track record of meeting sales targets. A valid driver's license is required, ASE is a plus, and a market-competitive compensation package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• 5-10 years multi-unit management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proven track record in meeting sales and gross margin targets in a multi-unit environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and store leadership to set and execute regional strategies.
• Collaborate with senior ops leaders to improve procedures and share best practices.
• Develop annual sales plans, budgets, and forecasts for the region.
• Build a culture of high customer service and leadership development.
• Drive talent acquisition and manage turnover in the region.
• Ensure diversity and a respectful environment for all team members and customers.
• Spend 50-60% of time visiting districts and stores to ensure initiative execution.
• Support other functions as assigned by area leadership.
