Job summary

Sun Communities seeks a Regional Vice President of MH Operations to lead a portfolio of manufactured housing communities in Oregon. You will drive performance, occupancy, and financial results while ensuring compliance with fair housing laws and safety standards.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, marketing strategy, vendor management, and capital-improvement oversight; you will partner with Sales and Community Managers to optimize occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience across multiple communities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of real estate and property management basics, including budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Directs operations for a portfolio of manufactured housing communities.
• Oversees occupancy, lease-up, and sales projections.
• Develops and implements marketing plans and budgets for communities.
• Ensures compliance with fair housing and employment laws.
• Manages staffing levels and team development; approves vendor contracts.
• Monitors safety, risk management, and annual capital plans.
• Collaborates with sales to manage inventory and resident relations.
• Reviews financials and prepares monthly P&L variance explanations.
