Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC seeks a Vice President of Operations to provide executive leadership for a regional portfolio of data center facilities across multiple states. You will drive performance, reliability, safety, customer satisfaction, and financial results while aligning regional plans with enterprise strategy.

You will lead Senior Directors and other leaders, translate priorities into regional operating plans, and ensure execution excellence across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in mission-critical, data center, industrial, utility, or critical facility operations across multiple markets/sites.
• Experience leading senior leaders and managing large-scale regional operations.
• Strong understanding of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure and facility systems.
• Experience with operating budgets, workforce planning, forecasting, metrics, and resource allocation.
• Proven ability to manage significant customer relationships and executive escalations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for a regional portfolio of data center operations across multiple states and markets.
• Translate enterprise priorities into regional operating plans and ensure 24x7 operational excellence.
• Oversee safety, reliability, service delivery, and incident management; drive continuous improvement.
• Lead regional budget planning, cost management, and workforce planning.
• Develop leadership capability, succession planning, and performance management.
• Act as executive sponsor for major customers and partner with cross-functional teams to support deployments and transitions.
• Balance resources, mitigate portfolio-level risk, and position markets for current and future commitments.
