Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group in Phoenix seeks a Regional Vice President for Commercial Lines to drive profitable growth and lead middle market and small commercial teams in the Arizona region. You will shape local market plans, manage agency partnerships, and collaborate with underwriting, risk control, and claims to deliver superior service while advancing Hanover CARE values.

Ten+ years in P&C with leadership experience, BA/MA preferred, and CPCU or CIC designations preferred; strong

Qualifications

• Ten years or more of general property and casualty experience required.
• 7-10 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Advance degree (BA/MA) preferred.
• CPCU or CIC designations preferred.
• Sound technical knowledge of commercial and personal lines insurance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and people skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional team and drive profitable growth within assigned territory.
• Develop local market plans and coordinate enterprise strategies.
• Coach and develop underwriting, agency relations, and distribution.
• Manage portfolio balance, CAT management, and regulatory activities.
• Collaborate with Enterprise partners to expand agency distribution.
