La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to execute showroom displays and maintain planograms across multiple stores in the Southeast region. You will refresh floor sets, collaborate with store teams, and travel to stores to ensure brand standards are met.
The role involves four days in-store per week with one remote work-from-home day, and requires 0-2 years in visual merchandising, strong design sense, and reliable travel.

This position ensures that company-directed visual merchandising strategies are executed to deliver a distinctive in-store experience for our consumers. This role will implement floor resets and visual displays per company standards, adapting to the individual store’s needs and layout and may be responsible for displays over multiple stores in a geographic region. This position will execute merchandising directives in 4 stores in Southeast Louisiana in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Covington, and Metairie La-Z-Boy Showrooms. This role will be in stores 4 days a week with one remote work from home day.
Execute visually appealing showroom displays to drive greater conversion in-stores and increase brand loyalty. Follow planograms as established by visual leadership to position upholstered furniture, tables, lamps, accessories, and artwork to enhance the overall presentation of the showroom. Refresh and update floor sets based on new intros, seasonal floor sets, upcoming promotions and inventory strategies. Receive, tag, and transfer merchandise within the retail showroom. Assemble furniture and climb ladders to hang accessories or pictures as needed. Assist with merchandising for new stores, store closings, and regional remodels. Collaborate with the store manager and other members of the visual merchandising team on merchandising efforts. Participate in meetings to discuss products and accessories on the floor, style mix, display, and other pertinent information to the team. Analyzes trends, shop competition and other areas for inspiration. Embrace training, education, and development opportunities to continually improve knowledge and visual skills.
Retail Division Dollar Volume $900 Million+ Sales Annually, Manages $60 Million+ Inventory, 185+ Retail Locations, New Store Openings and Remodels for Retail.
0-2 years of experience in a visual merchandising, or related field Understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques, strong design taste, sense of style, culture, art, design, fashion, innovation, and technology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to travel to multiple stores in a geographic region. Familiar with inventory management principles Physical ability to move furniture up to or over 50lbs. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Travel up to 75%. Receive, tag, and transfer merchandise within the retail showroom.
