• Proven success managing full P&L responsibility in a private equity-backed healthcare organization.
• Strong financial and operational acumen in budgeting, forecasting, productivity management and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own full regional P&L accountability, ensuring achievement of financial, operational, and growth objectives.
• Lead performance across clinics, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), and ancillary service lines within the region.
• Partner with executive and physician leadership to develop and execute strategic plans, budgets, and operational priorities.
• Drive operational excellence through KPI management, productivity improvement, and quality-focused initiatives.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing regional leadership teams to support continued growth.
• Collaborate with provider recruitment and HR teams to identify staffing needs and support talent acquisition efforts.
• Champion continuous improvement programs that enhance efficiency, patient experience, and overall performance.
• Support M&A activities, including operational due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition execution.
• Partner with corporate support functions to align resources and achieve regional business goals.
• Foster a collaborative culture across providers, staff, and leadership teams while maintaining a focus on patient outcomes and employee engagement.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this executive leader will be responsible for driving operational performance, financial results, and strategic growth across a multi-site region. The Regional Vice President will serve as the primary P&L owner, partnering closely with physician leadership and corporate stakeholders to optimize clinic and ambulatory surgery center performance while supporting both organic and acquisition-driven growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required; MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience in a multi-site physician practice environment, including 3+ years within ophthalmology.
• Demonstrated success managing full P&L responsibility, ideally within a private equity-backed healthcare organization.
• Strong financial and operational acumen, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, productivity management, and performance improvement.
• Experience leading ASC operations, building scalable leadership teams, and supporting M&A integration activities strongly preferred.
