Overview:
Providing our clients with exceptional service is the foundation of our business. As a Regional Vice President, you will provide leadership to Veritext’s Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions (approximately $150m in revenue) while driving sales growth through all channels. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of our Northeast and Mid-Atlantic markets, including growth strategies, key client management and development, acquisition sourcing and onboarding, reporter relationship services, employee/reporter/client satisfaction, and operational optimization.
What you'll do:
General Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the regional business, using sound business metrics, financial analysis, and practices to guide growth.
- Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of regional sales and operations to ensure company goals are achieved.
- Be accountable for the full regional P&L, focusing on growing revenue, improving gross profit, and maximizing EBITDA.
- Identify, source, and lead M&A efforts within the region, onboarding and integrating new businesses with long-term growth plans.
- Create, grow, and manage key client relationships, independent contractor partners, and employee relationships, embodying Veritext values.
- Partner with the finance team to establish annual budgets aligned with company and regional goals, driving sales, profitability, and business objectives.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable, and engaging environment within the region.
- Develop and lead high-performance sales and operational teams with development and succession plans.
Sales:
- Deploy a sales strategy to leverage client relationships and pursue larger litigation matters, driving revenue and market share.
- Possess strong knowledge of Veritext products and services, training and coaching the sales force to position them effectively.
- Establish and grow key client relationships through meetings, industry events, and new opportunities.
- Increase revenue, oversee pricing strategies, and improve client satisfaction and retention.
- Work with sales leadership to motivate and guide sales professionals.
- Resolve escalated sales issues and assess performance metrics.
Operations:
- Lead operations teams responsible for client service, scheduling, production, billing, collections, and video services.
- Develop a client service culture and deliver exceptional Net Promoter Scores.
- Drive operational excellence by optimizing financial results and controlling OpEx costs.
- Manage recruitment and service delivery of independent contractors.
- Collaborate on process improvement projects with Project Management and Technology teams.
- Support talent initiatives, employee engagement, and performance management.
Company-wide:
- Work with the EVP of Business Development on acquisition targets and adjacent opportunities.
- Serve as a key member of the Veritext Senior Management team.
- Collaborate with other regional teams to maximize revenue, profit, and EBITDA.
Who you are:
- At least 15 years of revenue generation and strategic leadership experience.
- Experienced sales professional with a background in selling professional services.
- Responsibility overseeing a division or company of at least $50 million preferred.
- Broad knowledge of the legal services industry preferred.
- Skilled in pricing, sales strategies, negotiations, and tactics.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills that drive results.
- Proven success in sales growth, pricing management, and business development.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to confidently articulate Veritext’s value.
