What We Need:

Are you a proven automotive leader who understands how dealerships operate, how automotive advertising works, and how to build high-performing sales organizations? iHeartMedia Automotive is seeking an Automotive Vice President to lead and grow our automotive business throughout Florida. This individual will serve as both a strategic business leader and hands‑on automotive expert, responsible for driving revenue growth, developing automotive talent, expanding dealer relationships, and helping automotive marketing consultants maximize results for their clients. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with automotive dealerships, dealer groups, automotive advertising, media, digital marketing, automotive technology, or OEM‑related organizations. They understand dealership operations, dealer economics, consumer shopping behavior, and the marketing strategies that influence vehicle sales, service retention, and market share growth.

This role requires a leader who can successfully engage Dealer Principals, General Managers, marketing executives, and ownership groups while simultaneously coaching sales teams, identifying growth opportunities, recruiting top talent, and building a culture of accountability and performance. This is more than a sales leadership role. It is an opportunity to help shape the future of automotive advertising while leading one of the industry's most comprehensive audio and marketing platforms supported by exclusive automotive products, advanced attribution capabilities, proprietary audience targeting technologies, and industry-leading automotive research resources.

What You'll Do:
Revenue Leadership
  • Lead all automotive revenue growth initiatives throughout Florida.
  • Develop and execute market growth plans that increase dealer count, share of wallet, and overall revenue.
  • Partner with local market leadership to maximize automotive performance across all iHeartMedia platforms.
  • Drive successful execution of automotive sales initiatives, promotions, contests, and strategic programs.
  • Analyze performance trends and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
Dealer & Industry Leadership
  • Build executive‑level relationships with Dealer Principals, General Managers, Dealer Operators, Marketing Directors, agency leaders, and ownership groups.
  • Participate in high‑level sales presentations and strategic client discussions.
  • Serve as the automotive subject matter expert for Florida markets and help create and deliver innovative dealership marketing strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Represent iHeartMedia Automotive at industry events, dealer meetings, training sessions, and market functions.
Leadership & Talent Development
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and develop Automotive Marketing Consultants and automotive‑focused sellers.
  • Build a culture of accountability, activity, continuous learning, and revenue growth.
  • Provide ongoing coaching through ride‑alongs, pipeline reviews, presentation coaching, and business planning sessions.
  • Identify and develop future automotive leaders while supporting succession planning and long‑term talent development.
Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Collaborate with automotive leadership, Market Presidents, Directors of Sales, and regional leadership teams.
  • Utilize proprietary automotive research, shopper insights, dealer intelligence, and performance analytics to identify growth opportunities and develop market‑specific automotive growth plans.
  • Ensure consistent utilization of CRM systems, reporting standards, forecasting tools, and revenue management processes.
  • Drive adoption of automotive products, platforms, tools, and best practices.
Cross‑Functional Leadership
  • Partner with automotive strategy, product, operations, analytics, creative, and campaign teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
  • Help identify opportunities for new products, process improvements, and automotive innovations.
  • Act as a voice of the dealer and seller throughout the organization.
What You'll Get
  • The opportunity to lead within one of the country’s largest dedicated automotive advertising organizations, with access to exclusive automotive products, proprietary advertising solutions, industry‑leading research resources, and advanced attribution tools.
  • The role offers significant career growth and leadership opportunities, along with a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, incentive compensation, and performance‑based earnings.
  • You’ll also be eligible for President’s Club and leadership recognition programs, as well as comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, company holidays, wellness resources, and employee assistance programs.
  • You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of automotive specialists, strategists, and industry experts committed to helping dealerships grow.
