Job summary

Blue River PetCare seeks a Regional Operations Manager to support 15+ hospitals across multiple states, based in downtown Chicago with up to 75% travel by car or plane. You will work with local practice management and veterinarians to drive patient care quality, revenue growth, and operational performance.

Ideal candidates have veterinary multisite leadership experience, a bachelor’s degree, strong financial acumen, and excellence in staffing, scheduling, compliance, and vendor relations.

Qualifications

• Three years of veterinary management AND two years of multi-unit management experience required.
• Experience managing profit and loss statement and delivering positive financial results required.
• Excellent organization, attentional to detail, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises operations of 15+ Blue River PetCare hospitals and ensures revenue and profit growth.
• Acts as liaison between hospitals and Blue River management with recommendations to improve profitability.
• Provides staffing support in inventory, scheduling, compliance, training, recruiting, and retention.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, DEA, AVMA and other local regulations.
