Job summary

Lakefield Veterinary Group in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a Regional Veterinary Medical Director to provide strategic medical leadership across multiple hospitals. This role ensures high-quality patient care, drives clinical excellence, and partners with hospital leadership to improve operational performance.

The Regional Medical Director mentors veterinarians, strengthens hospital culture, and uses data and KPIs to identify growth opportunities. Travel regionally is required.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience.
• Active veterinary license in good standing.
• Leadership or multi-site oversight experience preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead standards of veterinary medicine across multiple hospitals.
• Mentor veterinarians and support clinical skills development.
• Analyze KPIs to drive hospital performance and efficiency.
• Develop data-driven plans to improve patient care and operations.
