Job summary

The Vendor Management Governance Advisor at MetLife’s Global Business Solutions (GBS) serves as a regional governance partner, helping Vendor Managers apply enterprise standards, governance requirements, and reporting expectations.

You will coordinate with Procurement, Third Party Risk Management, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and business units in a hybrid role with a minimum of three days in the office; the position offers a salary range of $80,000–$105,000 and eligible incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years in Vendor Management, Procurement, Governance, Third Party Risk Management, Operations, Compliance, or related field.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to interpret policies, standards, procedures, and governance requirements.
• Ability to use AI to improve speed, quality, and efficiency across day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as regional representative of the Vendor Management Center of Excellence.
• Promote adoption of enterprise vendor management standards, templates, and processes.
• Provide guidance on vendor segmentation, governance requirements, and responsibilities.
• Monitor adherence to standards and identify remediation needs.
• Collaborate with procurement and risk teams to support governance initiatives.
