Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking a regional underwriting leader to drive profit and growth across the Northeast. You will oversee underwriting activities, establish a territory marketing plan, and manage producers while supporting the business plan and regional budget.

The role includes marketing, training on Arch’s Online portal, and credit risk evaluation of submissions. Expect 25%+ domestic travel and collaboration with senior leadership for profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance/Accounting or Management or equivalent work experience.
• Bloomberg and Moody's Risk Analyst experience is a plus.
• 5–10 years of relevant underwriting/financial risk experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee underwriting activities for the Northeast region with agents and brokers.
• Underwrite new and existing submissions using authority from Senior Commercial VP.
• Develop/maintain marketing and training on Arch’s Online portal.
• Analyze financial statements and credit data to evaluate risk.
• Build and maintain relationships with agents/brokers to grow surety business.
• Travel ~25%+ domestically.
