Job summary

Diversicare in the United States is hiring a Regional RN to support centers within the region. This role provides skilled nursing services, supervises CNAs, and collaborates with the care team to maintain high-quality resident care.

Candidates must hold a current RN license, be able to travel to any center in the region, and adapt to changing schedules. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
• Flexibility to work in a changing schedule.
• Able to work closely with residents, physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Receive shift report and relay information to oncoming staff.
• Perform rounds to assess care quality and coordinate with caregivers.
• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders and patient needs.
• Assist in planning individualized care plans.
• Be a member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team.
• Document patient/resident conditions accurately and timely.
• Supervise or direct other care providers as needed.
• Evaluate nurse performance and provide coaching.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate actions as required.
• Support Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safe work practices and patient safety.
• Communicate empathetically with families about care changes.
